Update from Coach Lance
Good game against Oakridge, for the first time playing together the coaches were really happy with how the team played. Our practice on the 19th is now a game against Oakridge. It will be 3 x 15 min periods
Saturday's tryout will be the final one and we will post the team later in the evening.
There will be a parent meeting before the practice on Monday. A team budget will be presented, expectations explained, goals of the coaches conveyed. Chequebooks will be required :-)
We will be looking for volunteers to help the team run smoothly. The Key one is a team manager, however we will also need someone to look after stats,team jerseys, practice sweaters, timekeeping, water bottles, parent rep, and other duties.
Tournaments. We are currently in 4
St Catherine's, North and West
I will be asking parents to decide on the last one. I have booked off the time for either the SSE tournament in London(Nov 29th- Dec 1) or we can go away to Southbend Indiana(Dec6th- Dec 8th).
