Peewee, 2013-2014, MD (North London Nationals Hockey)

We will be having an exhibition game against the Bandits using our ice on Saturday from 10am-11:30am at the Western Fair.  At Wednesday's practice players will pick their numbers for the year. Players who played on the MD team last year will have first pick of their same number. 

All Sunday practices will be at 9:30am. The team calendar previously stated 10:30am and was incorrect. The calendar has now been updated to correctly show 9:30am. 

I have added an extra hour of ice for Sunday's tryout. For those players that advance to Sunday's tryout we will be having a 2 hour intersquad exhibition game. The tryout will be from 10am-12pm at Stronach Arena. If any player is unable to make the 2nd hour I need to know in advance. Please e-mail me at [email protected]. Coach Brendan 

Great first tryout everyone. By the look of the talent on the ice, this years Peewee MD team is going to be very strong.  Last night I spoke with the players before going on the ice and let them know the criteria in which the coaching staff is using to select this years team. I also put up a poster in each dressing room stating the criteria we are looking for as a reminder to the players. There is no secret to making this team.
