WOW!!! How Impressed and Proud am I?

PARENTS PLEASE READ TO PLAYERS:

Its was with regret and sadness that I had scheduled my vacation in the time slot I did, not knowing that it was the same week as our organizations annual tournament.

I want to applaud all players, parents and coaches for their amazing effort and finish over the past weekend. Our team has made impressive strides both on the ice and off in regards to skill, maturity and sportsmanship. This is yet another factor that makes MD hockey a great tool in growing up. Its a game after all!

Smiles and tears, every one should be really really proud of what they accomplished. Other teams from all over Ontario and a few from London now know that the Nationals Minor Novice team is no easy team to play.

I was fortunate enough to be able to watch the entire third period of your Sunday morning game including the amazing effort made in over time. The early morning breakfast crowd knew that some crazy coach or parent was watching an amazing hockey game!!! Americans just didnt understand at first until I proudly displayed my team on the iPad for all to see around the pool.

Both coaches and parents are proud of you all!!! Team play is what is making you better and listening and effort are helping you to become better athletes not just hockey players.

I was their in spirit and heart and am very proud to have each and every one of you on the team!!!

Great job players, lets move ahead and upward making every game better than the last and learning form our mistakes in order to be improving some how every time we skate. Its a game and once the gear comes off we are players of the same caliber, kids that love playing hockey.

Thanks again for trying, caring, listening and wanting to get better.

Congratulations on an amazing weekend effort.
