CONGRATS ON A GREAT WEEKEND!!!
What an amazing weekend!!
I would like to congratulate all players on an amazing effort this weekend at the Hamilton Huskies Tournament.
With our first and second win under our belts we saw the potential these kids have when they want it. From a tough opening game of 9-0, the score did not reflect that game at all. We played smart and had room for improvement.
Second and third games proved that! With positions and passes and thinking, we dominated the next two games easily. From the bench I reflected on some of our practice plans and saw them enacted right in front of my eyes. Some amazing plays all around, both with and with out the puck.
Our fourth game was a tough loss but brought us back to where we need to be, the basics. Passing and playing smart positions will lead us to more WINS in the near future.
A great time for both players and parents to bond and let their hair down.
A great way to start off an amazing hockey year and I am looking forward to more weekends like that, both on the road and at home.
