The season gets going in a few days. I thought I would put some additional thoughts down to keep everyone informed
When you arrive at the arena on Thursday there will be a check in table. You will be give a sweater at that time.
Please bring your own water bottles, I will however have water bottles available as well.
Parents and players I think it would be good to download the new minimum player suspensions and familiarize yourself with them. There is a significant move afoot by the Alliance to crack down on GM penalties and in particular GM penalties in the last 10 minutes of a game. Penalties will be cumulative this season and the more you get the more you sit.
Our Association web site also has on it a code o conduct that both parents and players will need to sign. I have already signed my Coaches code of conduct. Fortunately I know most of you and it will not be a big deal. Just common sense put in writing. It needs to be signed to play for North this year.Any questions you may have will be addressed at the parents meeting that is listed on the home page.
I will post a list of players names that have registered late Wednesday or early Thursday. If you have registered and are not on the list and have registered, please e-mail me at
[email protected] and I will get you in touch with the registrar. Players need to be registered to go on the ice.
