Mission Complete!
Last night, the boys played like champions and completed the triple crown. They were regular season champs, play-off round robin champs and final four play-down champions. Sarnia proved a great opponent all year long but the combination of our player's heart/talent and the home ice advantage proved too much and the Nationals will play in the Alliance MD Championships as MD West Division Champions.

The North London Nationals Atom MD turned in a great effort over the weekend in winning the West London BMO Hockey Tournament. It was a solid team effort with a final stat line of 23 goals for and only 4 against in 5 games.
The team had victories over Guelph Jr. Storm, George Bell Titans, Aurora Tigers, Caledon Blackhawks and a second victory over Guelph Jr. Storm in the final.
It was the third time this year the boys had reached the finals of a tournament and they would not be denied scoring 27 seconds into the game and playing with a lead throughout. They came, they supported each other and they conquered. They made us proud! Well done Nationals!

Thanks to all the players that did their best today, I wish I could keep you all. I have built the best team I can with the players I selected. There will be player positional movement as I round out my team. There are several players I would love the chance to develop as AP players, I will contact those players later. Everyone on this list should be at the parent/player meeting at Loblaws (Fanshawe and Richmond) Upstairs at 6:00pm tonight.
I am please to announce the players that will defend the Alliance Championship in 2011-12.
