Welcome
Coach Damon and Coach Kevin are leading the U9 MD 1 team for the 2021/22 hockey season. We would like to welcome all players who are taking part in the tryout process and wish them the very best.
The U9 MD 1 team is looking forward to a FUN season ahead - full of friendships, hockey development, full-ice hockey games, and tournaments!
We are now taking the time to be very clear and transparent in saying that every roster position on this team will be EARNED.
Please note the times and arena locations for every tryout session.

On Ice Tryout Sessions
Players will be challenged with high-tempo skating drills, competitive situations, small area games, and scrimmage. As a result, please ensure that your son/daughter is prepared with equipment that is in proper working order, adequately rested to give their best effort, and has a full water bottle at every session.
Goalies
If your son/daughter is trying out as a goalie please suit up for ALL of your scheduled sessions in proper goalie gear.
Although each goalie is assigned to one group, we would like to see all of the goaltenders attend both of the group A and group B skates on the weekend of Oct 2nd & 3rd.
Tryout Groupings - READ CAREFULLY
The posted groups below are for the on-ice sessions on Saturday, October 2nd & Sunday, October 3rd ONLY.
Players must report to the tryout sessions they are assigned to.
Before their first tryout session on Saturday, Oct 2, each player is required to check-in outside the front doors of the arena to obtain their tryout jersey. Players must wear the assigned numbered jersey given to them. Please ensure the number on the back of the jersey is fully visible. These jerseys will be collected at the end of the tryout process.
PLEASE NOTE
TWO NEW TRYOUT GROUPS will be posted for Tuesday, Oct 5th on-ice sessions.
That information will be posted by 8pm on Monday, October 4th on the U9 MD1 team homepage.
