Minor Novice, 2012-2013, MD (North London Nationals Hockey)

The boys enjoyed their christmas present early, attending the knights game,in style!!!!. They also surprised the Knights, getting a team photo in the Knights room after the Knights won.  The Nats then made their way over to Stobies for a bit to eat.   Thank you to the parents that helped with driving, Jason Montesi and Jim Troyer, to the coaches for taking care of the kids at the game and getting them home safely as well to Smhuel for getting the box and helping give the kids a good start to their Christmas holidays!! After two tough defeats, North bounced back this past saturday, Dec.15th to beat the Bandits in their rink, 5-1. Tank, Woody with two goals each and Rocket with a solo goal rounded out the "Nats" scoring. Roach held the Bandits off early with some excellent saves, and Natan came in and slammed the door shut on them in the second half. Due to the flu, Chuck was pressed into playing " D " and lines were juggled throughout the night and it seemed to work quite nicely. Get better soon Bam Bam. Go Nats

Another tough game, another tough loss! We took the lead in the first period, and then the wheels fell off and we lost 7-5. We didnt have the legs tonight, and we didnt finish on our chances and West buried theirs. Tonight West was the better team. We are learning valuable lessons as the season moves on and it is all a learning curve! Go Nats!

The Bandits came out hungry and hard for a victory today and got one. They beat us to the puck and outworked us for the loose pucks. We battled back being down 2-0 early and showed some grit and what we are made of taking a 3-2 in the second but in the end the Bandits won 4-3!!

The boys rolled into Stratford, led by the hardwork of our defenceman Hack, Kong, Monty, Bug, Bam Bam, and Buzz. Holding the offensive blue line today played huge in the Nats beating a much improved Stratford team 7-1. The kids continue to play as a team and it keeps paying dividends. Go Nats!
