I know everyone is very excited to be getting back on the ice. Please read through the information below for some details about the season ahead and things you’ll need to know before you head to the rink. I am the convenor for the U8 division this year.
Prep Skates and Evaluations
All players in U8 will start the season with prep skates which begin on Sept 2, 2025. These sessions are optional skates simply meant to get our players back on the ice. Players have been assigned to one of two groups for the prep skates. Please review the organization schedule for ice times.
U8 Prep Skates: PREP > U8 Prep Skates > Team Calendar (North London Nationals Hockey)
Please note - there may be changes made to the schedule please review it carefully.
It is important that you only attend the sessions that you are assigned to. No exceptions will be made.
If your player has indicated interest in attending MD evaluations and you reside within the North London MD hockey boundary, please check your team page for ice times and important information from the head coach.

Uniforms
Jerseys and socks will be provided to players but will not be available until final rosters have been made. Please come to all prep skate sessions with your own jersey and socks.
House League Teams
House League teams will be selected after MD tryouts are complete; Please review the evaluation calendar for ice times. It is important that your player attend these sessions.
