If any changes are to be made to the above schedule, they will be posted to the U15 Team Calendar.  All news and updates regarding tryouts will be posted to the U15 Team Home Page so please continue to monitor the site.

Below is an outline of what to expect:

I am excited to have Rob Drummond from RD Hockey return this season to conduct and aid in player evaluations for our first two ice times.  In addition to Coach Drummond there will be independent assessors evaluating both goalies and skaters to provide insight into the team selection process.

Day One May 10 – 1 hour session of skills/flow and compete drills in order to provide each player with an opportunity to showcase their talent. This will include a focus on skating/edge work, compete level, hockey IQ and confidence with the puck.  There will be no players released after our initial ice time.

Day Two May 12 – Intrasquad game format.  There will be releases made after this session as we move forward with the remaining three ice times which are all exhibition games against teams within the GLHA.

I will post the initial registration list on Friday May 9th as Junior Mustangs tryouts draw to a close.  If you are not involved with those tryouts and do not see your name on the list please notify me as soon as possible.

Upon arrival at the arena, you will find your name listed on a dressing room door with your jersey colour, position and number.  Your tryout jersey will be hanging in that dressing room.  Please leave the jersey hanging in the room after each tryout.  Goalies, please bring your own jersey for tryouts and keep it consistent throughout the entire process.

The 2011 year BB team has historically, and will continue to be, an extremely competitive group within the province at the A/BB non contact level.  Evaluators will be seeking players who bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, who are committed to excelling and improvement and embody a high level of compete in all facets of their game.

Best of luck to everyone in tryouts and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out at any time.
