U14 BB Division – North London Nationals
The North London Nationals are proud champions of the 2026 Doug Jarrett Memorial Tournament in the U14 BB Division.
Over three demanding days and six hard-fought games, the boys demonstrated resilience, growth, and a relentless compete level that defined the weekend.
Tournament Recap
Friday – February 20
Game 1: Nationals vs. Sarnia Jr Sting – 1-0 Loss
The tournament opened with a tight defensive battle at Kinsmen Arena. Despite strong play and opportunities, the team came up just short in a one-goal game.
Game 2: Nationals vs. St. Catharines Jr Falcons – 2-2 Tie
A resilient response in game two. The boys showed character, battled back, and earned an important point in pool play at Western Fair.
Saturday – February 21
Game 3: Nationals vs. Burlington Jr Raiders – 3-2 Win
A statement performance. Compete level rose, execution sharpened, and the team secured a critical victory to build momentum heading into the evening.
Game 4: Nationals vs. Oakridge Aeros – 4-2 Win
The bench energy was outstanding. Relentless effort and disciplined play powered the Nationals to their second straight win, earning a semi-final berth.
Sunday – February 22
Semi-Final: Nationals vs. Sarnia Jr Sting – 3-2 Win
A rematch with Sarnia brought intensity and redemption. The boys competed to the final buzzer and earned a hard-fought victory to advance to the championship.
Championship Game: Nationals vs. Waterloo Wolves – 2-1 Win
In a tightly contested final at Western Fair, the team delivered their most complete effort of the tournament. Strong defensive structure, relentless puck pursuit, and unwavering belief secured the championship.
