Congratulations to the boys for successfully defending their championship at the 45th Annual Aurora Bantam Tournament this past weekend! A perfect 5-0 record was capped off by a 3-1 win over league rival Kitchener Jr Rangers Blue in the final game of the tournament.
The team was outstanding at both ends of the ice, holding opponents scoreless during a shutout streak that lasted almost 175 minutes from the start of the tournament and ended with just under 6 minutes left in the final game. The offence provided timely scoring and produced a season-high of 42 shots on goal during one of the round robin games.
Congratulations to all of the boys on a great effort and for winning 3 of the 4 tournaments we entered this year.
Let's keep the momentum going for the rest of the regular season and into the playoffs!!
