Form must be completed by any Volunteer On-Ice Helper that is a registered NLSA bench staff or player, or is not on a NLSA Official Roster for 2024-25 Season.

Required Equipment Policy

NLSA supports the use of registered North players as mentors and on ice helpers at your practices. Registered North players must ALWAYS be in full hockey equipment if they are helping at another teams practice except for U7 (Initiation Program). Players from other associations can be used as on ice helpers and are required to be in full equipment.

On-Ice Helper Policy

All ice helpers must be at least 12 years of age and at least two years older than the team they are helping at practice.

Injured players are not allowed to participate as an on-ice helper until they are cleared to return to play for their team.
