Return to Hockey - Updated February 18
Submitted By Andrea Maillet on Wed 01 26, 22
The City of London has shared its preliminary protocols for a return to hockey on January 31, 2022. Some of these protocols may change based on provincial regulations and we will post updates if and when they are are available.

Under the new regulations both practices and games will be scheduled. Please check your team's calendar regularily for updates.

Preliminary protocols in place are as follows:

Capacity limits have been set at 50% in all non-playing areas. As a result capacity limits will be in place within our dressing rooms. Chairs will be available in lobbies/corridors for additional participants.

All spectator areas also have a capacity of 50%. TWO spectators per participant are permitted.

Viewing areas in each arena are different. Please watch from the designated areas. Viewing at Carling is limited to around the ice. The lobby and upstairs viewing areas are closed.

Entry into the arena for participants is limited to 30 minutes prior to their ice time. All groups must exit the arena 15 minutes after their ice time. When possible for our older players, spectators should only enter at ice time and proceed directly to the spectator area.

Everyone 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination to enter the arena. An enhanced vaccine certificate with a QR code along with a valid ID is REQUIRED as proof of vaccination. Proof of vaccination receipts and medical exemptions without the QR code will no longer be accepted.

Active screening is required for entry.

Please also remember to stay home if you or someone in your household is feeling unwell, wash your hands, wear a mask and practice social distancing.

We appreciate your cooperation and are looking forward to seeing you back at the rink next week!
