Season Update
Submitted By Andrea Maillet on Saturday, December 12, 2020
The province has moved the London region into the red zone of the COVID-19 framework. Our region will remain in the red zone for at least a 28-day period beginning December 14.

This change has significant impacts to our hockey programming and arena policies. As a result of these changes the NLHA Board of Directors has made the very difficult decision to cancel scheduled ice times in Phase I beginning Monday December 14.

Our board will continue to meet to determine how we will be able to offer a hockey program in Phase II that is in line with the additional protocols. We are committed to looking at a all options, with the goal of starting Phase II as scheduled in January.

Any cancelled ice times for the week of December 14 – 19 will be rescheduled in Phase II. Players not returning for Phase II will have the opportunity to apply for a refund for the cost of any missed sessions during this period. Please check our website in the coming weeks for more details.

Any ice purchased by MD teams during this period will have the cost of the ice refunded to the team.

Registration for Phase II is currently paused while we wait for more information. Our registration will reopen when we are able to share more details.

We appreciate the efforts of all our North London families and players who adapted to the changes during Phase I and brought a positive attitude to the arena each week. We’re also very thankful for all of our volunteer coaches, team managers, trainers, convenors and board members who helped make our Phase I successful.

We hope you all enjoy a safe and happy holiday season.
