U15 BB/B Tryout Information
Welcome to the U15BB/B tryouts!
My name is David Thoms and I will be coaching the U15BB/B team for the upcoming 2024-25 season. During the tryout sessions, I will be utilising the team webpage for all communication to players and parents. Please ensure you monitor the page for updates throughout the entire process. I will be posting jersey numbers and any further updates closer to the tryout to ensure any players released from the Mustangs have time to sign-up. Goalies should bring their own jersey. Please wear the same jersey for ALL tryouts going forward. Please inform of us of the jersey colour at check-in. All tryout times have been posted to the team calendar.
For those not familiar with BB hockey, starting in the fall, we will typically practice twice per week with one to two games weekly. I also plan on entering four tournaments this year with one being the North London tournament and at least one more being in London.
During the tryout process, I will have independent assessors looking at both the goalies and skaters and assisting with team selection. As with all coaches, we are looking at skill, work ethic, team play and positive attitude. I’m looking forward to getting the process started Sunday evening!
