The White Knights won another game early Saturday afternoon against a hard working Oakridge team...
The game got of to a solid start with good breakaway chances. The White Knights were charging well but sometimes it seemed like the play was a little slow today. The usual hard charging Knights were playing a little cautiously - sometimes waiting for the play to come to them.
Despite the caution, the White Knights had many excellent scoring opportunities on the hard working Oakridge Team. The Knights kept going, shooting the puck to the Oakridge net and were rewarded with a goal by Andrew S. in the middle of the first period. Not content to give up, Oakridge put one in the White Knight net in the second. But with less than five minutes to go, a great defensive effort led to a breakaway opportunity and David E. scored the winning goal for the Knights!!!
