House League Assessments
This season we have decided to forgo the assessment skates for the older
ages as we have player evaluations from last year's coach assessments but
we will still require 2009 (Novice) and 2010 (Minor Novice) born
players to assess with the goal of helping the coaches balance our
teams.
We need volunteers to help run the sessions and evaluators
to assess the players. If you are at all interested in coaching, we are
asking you to please step forward to assist with the assessment and the
season. It can't be done without you!
These assessments will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at Stronach Arena:
Minor Novice players with last names beginning with A - M will be assessed beginning at 8:30 AM, on Arena B Pad.
Minor Novice players with last names beginning with N - Z will be assessed beginning at 9:30 AM, on Arena B Pad.
Novice players with last names beginning with A - H will be assessed beginning at 10:30 AM, on Arena B Pad.
Novice players with last names beginning with I - Z will be assessed beginning at 11:30 AM, on Arena B Pad.
NOTE: Due to the large number of players, please attend the assessment time designated for your child.
Players
will be given a white or blue numbered jersey when they arrive at the
arena. This will be used during the assessment period only and will be
handed back at the end of the assessment.
Please make sure that
your child's helmet has their name clearly displayed on the front in
order to assist coaches over the course of the assessment. All players
must have all equipment in good condition, including neck guards, in
order to be allowed on the ice.
We are all looking forward to getting
the season going!
