Hespeler Olympics Tournament Champions
Our U13 MD team went into the Hespeler Olympics Christmas tournament with high expectations, and after battling through the round robin against three GTA-based teams, they went into the crossovers as a bit of an underdog on paper.
However, their stingy defensive play, stellar goaltending by Colton Black and Leaf Lunnen, and a relentless forecheck kept Clarington and Halton Hills from mounting any attack, and the team came home with the Gold Medal after a hard fought 2-0 Championship game win.
