Hello All,
Coach Jonathan and Coach Mark will be leading the U9 MD Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams respectively. We would like to welcome
all players who are taking part in the tryout process and wish them the very
best.
THe U9 MD Tier 1 and Tier 2 team is looking forward to a FUN season ahead - full of friendships, hockey development, full-ice hockey games and tournaments!
We are now taking the time to be very clear and transparent in saying that every roster position on this team will be EARNED.
Please note the times and arena locations for every tryout session:
Carling Arena for all tryouts
Monday September 19th - All U9 MD Tryout participants
Saturday September 24th - All U9 MD Tryout participants
Tuesday September 27th - All U9 MD Tryout participants
Thursday September 29th - Final U9 MD Tier 2 Tryout
On Ice Tryout Sessions
Players will be challenged with high-tempo skating drills, competitive situations, small area games, and scrimmage. As a result, please ensure that your son/daughter is prepared with equipment that is in proper working order, adequately rested to give their best effort, and has a full water bottle at every session.
Goalies
If your son/daughter is trying out as a goalie please inform Coach Jonathan and Coach Mark at the first try-out. They will suit up in goalie gear for the 3rd tryout scrimmage.
