Now that's a great season.
Hello one and all.
I have been digesting our season and have been trying to put together a summary of how I have measured our successes.
The kids took the words right out of hands tonight with that incredible game and dominating win against the leagues toughest opponent.
5 - 2 WIN!!!!!!
I am so proud as a coach and father of all of these boys.
We we went over some of the same things as usual before the game but I left the boys with a simple little extra bit of encouragement.
1. The coaching staff was proud of them and how hard they worked all year long.
2. The win loss column ratio wasn't important, what was is the team effort and never quit attitude and ability that this team possessed, no other team could touch it.
3. I loved them as a team and like my own sons.
4. To take all of what they learned this season, the effort they continually show and put out and the never quit attitude and just let it happen. Don't think about anything, just let it all come out in the game they we about to play.
Well, they did one H E double hockey sticks of a job didn't they!!!
My thanks to all the families and the support they provided and my congratulations to the boys for an extremely successful season.
Boys I hope you take the confidence you earned and gained forward into years of successful hockey seasons to come.
