C2 Ends Regular Season on a strong note
North London C2 secured their spot in the 'A' playoffs with a 4-2 win over West London C2 in the final regular season game today at Kinsmen Arena. The team was short-handed - playing with only 9 skaters but dug deep and pulled off a win.
Matt Murphy scored early in the first with a hard shot from the point that found it's way past the West London netminder. Jerry Zakaria scored an important goal next to get the offence rolling and pad our lead. Daniel Sangster came within inches of potting his first goal of the season however picked up a huge assist moments later on a goal by Noah Radbourne to increase our lead to 3-1. Jameson Roszel made some huge saves when we needed them and a feisty Noah Debicki pestered his opponents at the faceoff circle and made some timely shots on goal in the 3rd. A big thanks to Nathan Blain, Nick Loupos, Carter Hughes, Noah Radbourne, and Matt Murphy who shared much of the duties on defence holding off a determined West London squad.
