With 1 win and 2 losses, the White Knights showed real effort and great teamwork...
The Neil Barker Tournament started out with a great win by the White Knights. With some experiments amongst the defense and offensive line ups, the team earned a great 4 to 1 win in the first game.
The next two games were really tough battles. There was some excellent playing, and some real skill on the part of our team and goalie to keep ourselves in the game. The two Toronto-based house league teams that beat us came with a full three line field, demonstrated excellent positional play, super fast skating and a never give up effort.
The White Knights met them on the battle field and fought a really hard battle - great effort, working hard to be in position and the same spirit of never giving up on getting the puck. We faced great teams and lost - totally honorable losses against great competitors and we learned alot!
