Win Streak at 4!!!
The White Knights played an awesome game against their West London opponents!
Today's game was a fantastic effort by the 6 Forwards, 3 Defense and our goalie! The team really came together in one of the best tactical games to date.
Starting off with a great physical and mental performance, the White Knights played hard on every puck handling opportunity. With a mere 22 seconds left on the clock in the first period they scored their first goal!
Then, in the second period, following solid coaching advice to keep the West London team from shooting, and stealing the puck at every chance, the White Knights forwards kept the puck in the West London end, for most of the second. The defense were awesome in supporting the forwards, making sure that the puck stayed on the other side of the blue line. Two goals scored in this period were met, just as the buzzer rang with the West London team's lone goal.
The third period brought the same as the second - much of it played in the West London end, with the White Knights goalie standing watchfully but at a great distance for most of the play! The number of shots on net by White Knights players was unbelievable! Attempt after attempt brought 2 more goals, to make it 5 to 1 at the end.
This was a really great game team - everyone followed the simple coaching advice - play hard, steal the puck, don't let the other team shoot on our net and shoot, shoot, shoot on their net. It paid off!!!
