An unbelievable effort from every White Knight leads the team to win against the unbeaten West London Hawks - a formidable opponent. The White Knights Rule!!!!!
This Saturday proved to be a true test of the White Knights potential as a great minor atom team. First, with less than a minute played the West London Hawks went up one to nothing in this highly anticipated match up. Unshaken, the Knights responded with a tying goal with less than a minute and a half left in the first period. The battle between these two young teams was exciting and tough - the Knights players stuck to their positions, played hard in their own end and dug, dug, dug.
In the second period, the Knights scored their second goal but this was matched by the West London Hawks not long after. Just before the second period ended the Knights scored their third goal. The Knights were on fire - with every team member making contributions to holding back this previously unbeaten team.
The third period was a fierce battle - holding off any scoring chances - the Knights team with fantastic efforts by our goalie and every man. With 6 minutes left, the Knights scored their fourth goal to seal the deal.
Parents, spectators and players were elated with the victory. Congratulations to everyone!!!!
