Petes Sports
Petes Sports
About Us Pete's Sports was established in 1978 and has provided its customers with over 25 years of top quality sales and service. In the early going, Pete's Sports' primary business was sporting goods repair. Since 1964, repairs have been done on site, and continue to be done with the same care and quality craftsmanship that is synonymous with Pete's. Whether it was repairs to: skates, goal pads, gloves, hockey bags, or hockey glove repalming, baseball glove re-lacing or customization of sports equipment, Pete's could handle it, and ensured quality work done quickly, and exactly to your specifications, putting you back in the game and performing at your best. As the demand for goal equipment, protective and skates increased, Pete's Sports expanded into the retail sale of sports equipment, with a distinct focus on Hockey and Goalie equipment. In 1982, Pete's Sports established a strong relationship with Vaughn Custom Sports, and took an active role in manufacturing Vaughn's first Canadian made product line. As the 1980's progressed, Pete's grew further to provide team and corporate uniform services for many London-area Sports Associations and Leagues. Through Pete's Quality Service oriented approach, all three areas continue to fluorish and continue to expand annually. By the mid 1990's, Pete's was a rapidly expanding sporting goods store, forcing the store's expansion to a second location. To consolidate, our present Oxford St. location was renovated and expanded to a comfortable 5,000 sq. ft., allowing us to bring both stores together once again, and offer all of our services at one convenient location. Presently, we function as a full size hockey retail store offering products from Bauer, CCM, Heaton, Koho, Easton, Brian's, Itech, Eagle and Eddie Mask. Our expanded Team and Corporate Sales Department offers the latest in team apparel and corporate wear. Competitive prices have lead to a 25% incease in Association and League business, and we are always eager to take on new customers, and all of their Team and Corporate needs. Pete's has expanded greatly since its establishment, but we have never forgotten our roots. We are the #1 repair outlet for sports equipment in Southwestern Ontario. We have repaired equipment for the Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays, Team Canada, London Knights, Oshawa Generals, Plymouth Whalers, Sarnia Sting, Kitchener Rangers, and other CIAU University, Major Junior A, B, C and D franchises. The Pete's Sports staff is friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable, and is focused on providing you with cutting edge services and technical advice. Whatever your sports related needs may be, Pete's can help! Come and see the difference service makes! We look forward to seeing you soon!
