Orange Level Update
Starting Monday March 1, London will move to the Orange Restrict
Level of the provincial framework. This change brings some significant changes to our hockey programming.
Moving to the Orange level means that we will be returning to the protocols that were in place for Phase I of our season. We can now allow up to 25 people on the ice for each session and it means the return on inter-squad scrimmages. It also means that starting Monday each player will be on the ice nine times over the next four weeks.
Our new schedule for the Orange level is final and posted to the website. If you are unsure of your ice time please reach out to your coach or convenor.
Other changes to keep in mind while we are in the orange level.
-Dressing rooms will be open
-A maximum of 25 people are permitted on the ice during each session, including coaches and trainers
-Inter-squad scrimmages are permitted
-No body contact during games or drills
-Teams will have access to the dressing room for 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after their ice time
-One spectator per player, no siblings are permitted
-Everyone who enters the arena will be screened. Please continue to use the City of London health assessment form
-No outside food or drink
-Masks must be worn at all times within the arena. The only exception is for players on the ice
Thank you for your understanding while we make these changes.
